SCENE: A line in a bank.
WHERE: The corner of Kings Highway and McDonald Avenue, Brooklyn.
WHEN: August, 1981.
ACTION: Lights up. Our heroes, MARY and ROBERT, stand in a bank line with
others.
It is quiet and routine. Suddenly, MARY turns to ROBERT with the ferociousness of a tiger.
MARY
We should start a theater company.
(ROBERT’s eyes widen. Slow fade to black)
FADE TO BLACK. END OF PLAY.
